What we collect

When you use the enquiry form, we receive what you enter: your name, work email, company, role, the size of your team, rough timing, the format and practices you are interested in, where sessions would happen, and anything you tell us about your team. If you email us directly, we receive your email and anything in it.

Please do not include health or other sensitive details about individual people. A general picture of what your team is going through is all we need.

Like most websites, the server that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and a price, and arrange sessions if you decide to go ahead. We do this because you have asked us to, and it is needed to take the steps you requested.

We do not use your details for marketing without your permission, and we never sell your information or share it with others for their marketing.

Who can see it

• Us: Jacorine Meier and Howard Head.
• Our hosting provider: Domains.co.za hosts this website and our email, so enquiries pass through and are stored on their systems.
• Google Fonts: this website loads its typeface from Google. When a page opens, your browser connects to Google's servers, which may be outside South Africa, and Google receives your IP address. Google does not receive anything you type into the form.

We will only disclose your information otherwise if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

If we do not end up working together, we delete your enquiry after 12 months. If we do work together, we keep your details for as long as we work with you, and keep invoices and related records for 5 years as required for tax purposes.

How we protect it

The enquiry form is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries arrive in a password-protected mailbox that only we can access.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• ask us to correct or delete it
• object to us using it
• withdraw your permission, where you have given it
• complain to the Information Regulator

To use any of these rights, email info@resilience-lab.co.za. We will reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa):
